Who Exactly am I spilling my Guts to?

Information
Hey everyone, my name is Kristen Wallace and I am a pre-licensed clinical mental health counselor. Therapy shouldn’t feel cold or clinical—it should feel real, raw, and a little bit like talking to a trusted friend. I believe healing happens in spaces where we can be our authentic selves, which is exactly what I bring to every session.
Outside of work, I’m a proud parent to my incredibly talented daughter, Sarah, who’s pursuing her artistic dreams at SCAD. I also share my home with six amazing rescue dogs, so there’s never a dull moment in my life!
I’m a lover of all things music, especially punk rock—Social Distortion is my all-time favorite band, and I never pass up a good concert. Tattoos? I’ve got a few... or more, each with a story behind it. I’m a quirky, funny nerd at heart, always up for a deep conversation, a good laugh, or exploring the things that make people unique.
I know what it’s like to feel like an outsider, to question where you belong, and to fight through life’s chaos. That’s why I’m passionate about creating a space where people—especially those who don’t fit the mold—can heal, grow, and rediscover themselves.

My Approach to Therapy
Therapy with me isn’t about checking boxes or following a rigid script—it’s about real conversations, real connection, and meeting you exactly where you are. I believe healing happens when you feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. Whether we’re diving deep into tough emotions or finding moments of humor in the chaos, my goal is to create a space where you can be your authentic self and grow at your own pace.
