Buddy

Good Boy, and Calming Presence

Buddy isn’t just “cute” — he’s a therapeutic presence some people find helpful when:

  • nervous systems are on high alert

  • trust is hard to build

  • words aren’t enough

  • bodies need grounding before talk can begin

Buddy’s calm vibe, gentle presence, and warm energy often help people:

  • Slow their nervous system down

  • Feel safer in their body

  • Regulate overwhelm

  • Connect to the present moment in a nonverbal way

  • Ease into therapy when words feel hard

Some people find that having Buddy around makes thinking feel easier — like the nerves relax just enough to breathe.

Buddy doesn’t sit in your lap unless you invite him. He isn’t there to perform tricks — he’s there to be:

  • a calm body in the room

  • a soothing presence when your nervous system is tense

  • a nonjudgmental witness to your experience

Therapy is hard work. Strategic, supportive presence — like Buddy’s — can help make that work feel doable.

Buddy is a therapy dog who:

  • Is skilled in regulated presence (not overly energetic)

  • Is supervised and supported by the therapists at all times

He’s not there to replace therapy — but many clients notice that their bodies start to settle faster when he’s in the room.
